A message from Brianne Cronrath - bcronrathracing@aol.com.
Dear friends and family,
I'm sharing hope for a world where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease by participating in the American Cancer Society Dogswalk Against Cancer. I am supporting this program because cancer has touched us all in some way, and I am determined to do all I can to help eliminate this disease.
One way you can help is by making a donation. Your donation supports the American Cancer Society's efforts to fund groundbreaking cancer research, provide up-to-date cancer information and education, advocate for public health policies that benefit the community, and offer free services that improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
Visit my personal Dogswalk Against Cancer Web site today to donate to the American Cancer Society.
Thanks so much for your help. Your contributions - any amount you can give - truly make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Sincerely, Brianne Cronrath Click here to visit my personal page.

BCR Update 5-23: This past weekend found Brianne racing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on the 1.5 mile track in the # 03 Thunder Roadster for Racer Carol Enterprises. This was the first race for the new team, and the first speedway race for Brianne. The race was run in conjunction with the All-Star race, so the teams started on points, Brianne and the team missed the other races in the season so they started from the 15th starting position out of the stacked 20 car field. At the drop of the green flag everyone knew it would be a wild race. The team remained competitive throughout much of the race, learning a lot and discussing changes for the following race. Unfortunately plans were altered when Brianne was on the backstretch in front of a few other cars when a bump draft from behind went wrong, the bumpers were clipped turning Brianne into the outside wall and causing the other car to drive over her roll cage sending him flipping and her backwards into the inside wall. Luckily both drivers were OK after being taken for extra care, unfortunately the 03 was demolished in the accident. The BCR & RCE teams are working hard to get back onto the track as soon as possible.
American SIDS Institute Names Brianne Cronrath as National Spokesperson
Charlotte, NC – May 22, 2008 (For Immediate Release)BCR-Brianne Cronrath Racing is extremely excited to announce that Brianne Cronrath is teaming up with the American SIDS Institute to promote awareness of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) as a national spokesperson. Promoting SIDS awareness and prevention is an extremely important and personal cause for Brianne. Brianne and her family have experienced this tragedy firsthand as her 4-month old sister passed away from SIDS. Since starting her racing career over 16 years ago, Brianne has carried the initials of her younger sister on each of her race cars. “Being affiliated with the American SIDS Institute is extremely important to me. Anyone that has lost a loved one knows the ongoing struggle and pain when experiencing this kind of tragedy. This is a way for me to take part in raising awareness in memory of my sister.” SIDS is the unexplained sudden death of an infant. There are approximately 2,500 SIDS cases each year, the highest cause of deaths to infants between 1 month and 1 year of life. To find out more information on SIDS or to see how you can help please contact Brianne or visit: www.sids.org.
BCR Update 4/18: BCR hit the track for the first race of the season at Orange County Speedway this past Saturday with high hopes. The day started off with just one practice due to a significant amount of afternoon rain, luckily the rain stopped and the race events were able to take place. Brianne quickly diagnosed a cut right front tire within the first 15 laps of the 150 lap event bringing the number 16 Ford Fusion to pit road early. Brianne lost a handful of laps due to the tire issue, and headed back onto the track looking for the next caution to come back in the pits. Unfortunately, the luck did not turn around for the team when the car in front of the number 16’s rear end broke and dumped oil over the rack causing Brianne and another driver to hit the turn 3 wall hard causing both cars significant damage. The number 16 left the track that night needing both front and rear clips among other parts. Although this is a major bump in the road for the unsponsored team, they will again rally against the odds. Stay tuned for more BCR news!

She walks over, smiles and shakes his hand. Small talk follows and before he leaves, she gives the man her card. The encounter lasts maybe a minute and then with another handshake and a smile -- whoosh -- Richard Childress is gone ... on to meet the next person wanting his attention at Lowe's Motor Speedway. He'll do this routine ad nauseam on the day of the Nextel All Star Challenge, yet she sees the meeting quite differently. In the sport that values time more than the Swiss -- these could be the most important 60 seconds of Brianne Cronrath's career (more).
